Considering how much attention the boardwalk places down South get, I'm amazed how little Seaside Heights is mentioned here.  I haven't been to SH in probably 20 years, but I do have fond memories.  Great pizza, skee ball, frozen custard, video games, boogieboarding. Good times.

I always liked the pizza at the sawmill tavern on the south end of the boardwalk.  But it has been about 2 years since I was there so hopefully they have not changed.

Just got back from the jersey shore.  stopped at the "Sawmill tavern" on the boardwalk at seaside heights and had thier special; "a slice and a beer for 4.50"  The pizza was just as good as I remembered; the slice was probably 12-14 in long (it was huge) and went with just the cheese and the sauce.  Cheese was just mozz with a little parm in it and the sauce was good with just a little bite to it.  Only thing was i felt like I ate half a pie after just the first slice, but then again I could not make a "good" judge so I had to have another; man I was stuffed for the ride home!
sorry there are no pictures but took them with my phone and the piece of crap never saved the pics.  Looks i need a new phone or maybe I should just carry my camera with me all the time.
