When I lay it out on the slab, I will probably move the oven forward; as drawn it is 20" from the inner arch opening to the edge of the landing. I can work it with my 36" peel, but that is pretty far away. I was also thinking of 45ing the corners for looks and weight, but that would make building the stand harder. Just waiting on some more shade to place the concrete.

Congratulations! I've wanted one for a few years, but I just did not have the right layout outside for it and I would have to do a remodeling of our deck in order to have a convenient place on firm ground.

Please keep posting photos and if possible I'd like to see how it fits into your outdoor landscaping.

I will keep posting pictures as Tom sends them to me. Outdoor landscaping in South Texas during a drought is virtually non-existant. I am parking it on the back porch until a sufficient man-cave is built. Thanks for the congrats.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Tom this past weekend. (While he was divered) We squared up a few details about the oven, shot the bull, and enjoyed some (several) well, actually lots of cold drinks. He is a very kind soft spoken kind of person. We had a blast.
