Thanks Tom.  I was cooking in a heck of a wind.  If I had the 8" flue properly attached, the oven gas/exhaust would have been taken away.  Live and learn I guess.

I really haven't seen any cracks.  There are some places where the mortar has retreated and shrunk, but nothing major.

I've got about 50 excuses, but none of them are good enough not to be cooking pizza more.
