The sad thing for me is that, except for the first one, I remember all of those commercials. Man I'm getting old.  :'(

In the 1971 commercial Ed says "You notice, at Pizza Hut they put the sauce on with a ladle and not a paint brush." Well, when did they stop doing this? For years now, any time that I've had Pizza Hut pizza, there was very little sauce, as if it were painted on. I always liked their sauce...back when you could taste it.

So it was Pizza Hut who was country....before country was cool. Hmmm, this I did not know.

I stuck a link to another '77 ad in my original post.  People actually smiled back then while eating the pizza.  LOL   ;D

I guess I didn't watch a lot of TV growing up. I don't remember any of them.

None of the pizza in the commercials looks good to me - for that matter, I can't remember ever liking Pizza Hut.

It is nice to see people smile however...

That's true, Craig, but that "Pizza Made with Ahhhhh" ad was always more than a little bit disturbing.   :-X
