Missing this gathering may go down as one of my bigger regrets of 2012.   If the rest of the crew is as laid back and friendly as Tscarborough is (and I'm pretty sure they are judging from the banter on here) than you couldn't ask for a better get together.   The pics of those pies speak for themselves, and as always Craig turns out some of the best looking WFO crusts I have seen.

My question is, would you do it again and if so when?  If you guys will have me out next time I'd throw my Detroit Style into the ring and possibly a Roman pie as well...whatever it takes to get my hands on a well made Neo.  :D

Yes. For sure. And, we don't need to wait a whole year either.

Hey Ev, if we can't make it next year either, how would you feel about hosting the Midatlantic Pizza Summit?  Need a WFO and someone who can make it sing, and you're the guy around here!

Only change I'd request is that it take place during the fall - better camping and WFO weather!

Definitely not out of the question. Fall is just around the corner after all.
I'm not sure I deserve that much credit though, but thanks! :P

Gene, what are you, some kinda rock star diva? It seems that you are changing shirts more than the outfit changes at a Madonna concert.  ;D

Remember that Craig is on Tulsa time.  I was there for three days, and I wasn't responsible for keeping things straight.  Kinda like a DDD video, most things are scrambled.  One thing that was not scrambled was the pizza/Canadian bloody marry (Ceasar) with Clamato/ more Ceasar's and Tom's pizza for breakfast on Sunday morning.  Tom makes an excellent pie anytime I am sure, but for me, just when I needed it.  Kelly, you missed the sh@@, I hope to meet again.  Did I mention that Craig had a fresh batch of Lemoncello?  It was very "hot" like take your breath away and eat the enamel off your teeth, maybe he could bottle the stuff for a bathroom cleaner also. :-D :chef: :pizza:

Craig, I was given this wine, have you had it and how do I tell when it is best to drink it?

http://www.wine-searcher.com/find/rodney+strong+symmetry+meritage+alex+valley+northern+sonoma+county+north+coast+california+usa/2008/usa/-/a

Sometimes the "Details, Scores & Price History" tab at that website will give you some insight on when best to drink. I didn't see any though. Sometimes you can search for reviews which will give you a range. I saw one from Wine Spectator for that wine that said drink now therough 2020.

I don't pay a lot of attention to the drinking dates though. If I have a one off or a couple, unless I think it is going to be a great bottle, I'll drink it pretty young, say 3-5 years of bottle age, or if it's inexpensive, right away. If I have 6-12 bottles, I usually space them out every year or couple years to see how it's aging.

Dear t-shirt ordering friends...  The printer called and they are ready to be picked up.  Shipping will commence Monday, unless something else happens to take away my free time.

I hope that's true.  (As a kid, I'm the one who bought "X-Ray Specs".)

Firing up the MAM 505 for Sept. 1 Pizza Gorge.  Hope the shirt arrives in time.

I will see that it does.  Anybody flying in for the Pizza Gorge?  Are we invited?  Will there be a margarita machine?  Just kidding.  Work is killing my pizza playtime.

Absolutely!  Come!  It's gonna be scary as I'm going to give Craig's No Reefer dough a try.   :o
I've always retarded the balls but never achieved greatness.  Prettygoodness, but never greatness.
Margarita machine?  Believe it or not I have a Stoelting SoftServe machine sitting in my kitchen.  So that's covered.

Gene?
Yes, Gene. Sorry  :-[
Got all excited from Gene's anouncement. I understand that he has been swamped at his job recently and this was a really nice thing he did getting out the Texas Pizza Summit shirts to us fans.
Thanks for bringing that error to my attention Craig!  :)
