My favorite places
« on: August 14, 2012, 01:29:51 PM »
My favorite places:

  • Gump Hill, Monument Valley, Navajo Nation/Utah (where Forrest stopped running).
  • The road that goes from Altoona, PA to north of Gallitzin, PA, passing beneath Horseshoe Curve.
  • The In-N-Out Burger beside the north runway of LAX.
  • Everywhere.

Everyone should experience these places how I have.

I'd like to add to this list Utah 128 just north of Moab. Possibly the most enjoyable road I've ever driven.

I love pigs. They convert vegetables into bacon.

A great place to hang out with my boys (and hunt) and a great spot to catch fish and drink beer (there is a rig right there).  :)

My friends place in Greenpoint, Brooklyn --he's been in Greenpoint for a decade, and watching the changes in the neighborhood has been interesting.

I'll be at the third place in a couple of weeks in that exact spot on the beach. Love making fires on the beach at night right in front of the house! --K
