Seems to be from a TV show, and if the language wasn't English, one could imagine it was on one of those cooking channels. But this show is
Mummy Ka Magic, where a beautiful middle class mom makes wonderful goodies for her kids.
The ingredients look nice and even healthy: high extraction flour (atta), fresh tomatoes, real mozarella, etc. All except the end, where she makes a nice Happy Face smile with tomato ketchup. The dough hasn't risen at all when she rolls out the pizza. Kinda reminds me of a 'Kwik & EZ' 1-hour pizza recipe one might find in a
Good Housekeeping or
Family Circle magazine article. The oven she uses looks kinda cool, but where's her home Tandoor? Will those old ways be going by the wayside as India's middle class grows to an estimated 245 million by 2015? Will more and more Indians be eating at their local
Taco Bell and
Pizza Hut fast food joints?
