Forum members might want to check out a sample video from my new iPad app, "Pizza Dreams." Even if you don't have an iPad, you might enjoy the video. --DB

What would you put on a pizza along with cauliflower to "get it delicious?"
I love pigs. They convert vegetables into bacon.

Besides adding bacon and lots of it, three possible approaches to cauliflower: raw, sauteed, steamed. I grew up eating cauliflower steamed and mashed with garlic, salt, and olive oil or butter. That would make an interesting pizza.

Raw... that would be for veggie pizza purists, which, I gather from your tag line, you are not. On a pizza baked in a high-temp oven, this could work.

The approach I would try first is to saute the cauliflower with the bacon and several cloves of garlic. Mozz or smoked mozz on top and into the oven!

Good catch.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Totally Remarkable But Unexplained Event:

Pizza Dreams Is World Famous!

A few weeks ago, Rita Christopher, from the local Valley Courier, interviewed me for a story about Pizza Dreams.

Rita wrote the article and it was slated for publication August 9.  However... The Valley Courier is owned by the New London Day.  The Day apparently has access to Valley Courier stories. The Day ran the story on July 31--and so did dozens, maybe hundreds, of newspapers and websites around the world!

What happened?

The Associated Press wire service picked up the story and made it available.

So people in San Francisco... Boston...Fort Wayne...Providence... Pakistan... India... Great Britain... Canada saw the headline "Chester Man Develops Pizza-Making App For iPad."

The dateline given for the article was Chester, Conn., so Chester is famous now, too!

Below is a list of the news outlets that featured the story in their print and/or web outlets. I stopped writing them down after 40 or so.... (They're NOT links. If you want to see for yourself the scope of the story's worldwide pickup, google "pizza-making app for iPad" with quotes, or click on this link (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22pizza-making+app+for+ipad%22&rlz=1C1CHFA_enUS484US484&aq=f&sugexp=chrome,mod=6&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 ) and you'll see.

In the meantime, here's a link to the article in The Day: http://www.theday.com/article/20120806/LIV01/308099823/0/ .

And here's a link to the article in the San Francisco Chronicle: http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Chester-man-develops-pizza-making-app-for-iPad-3740495.php .

I use roasted red and hatch green peppers with I char on the gas burner on the stove and mushrooms.

Goes well with thin slided cauliflower.
