home wood burning pizza oven

I opened a wall at my house and found a woodburning fireplace oven.  It has its own chimney and flu.  It also had gas in it.  The dimensions are 46w x 29h x 22d for the oven  and  32w* 14H x 22d.  I was hoping someone could help me make this a functional pizza oven.   Help?

Wow talk about buried treasure. I don't know anything about wood fired ovens other than I would someday like to have one, but it sure would be interesting if you could post some pictures of your find. Where does the chimney exit? You must have had an idea the oven was there if there was a chimney and flu. No?

I had built my own rounded brick oven and reading a lot about rounded and barrel ones.

It sounds like the oven is not deep enough to insert a premade oven.  So does anyone know anything about how I can make my own?  I think I need a certain brick and run air tight pipe up the chimney?   I also will look for a door for the unit.
