Haha, sometimes your worst critics can be those well-meaning helpful people!  Like I've been told, filter filter filter your responses, be nice, and just blow their *(&(* minds!

I think your pies are looking great, and with a little tweaking, you could be looking at stellar NY quality.  No taco-bakin' twerps need apply!

I'd rather eat one good meal a day than 3 squares of garbage.

  Next step is to mount a stone instead of a steel plate in the top to see if that reduces the time needed to cook the top.


Try to go with the largest round stone you can fit.
