This is such a great thread.  Very impressive group of canines, I must say.  There must be some connection between pizza obsession and good looking dogs.

This is one of my dogs, Dede. She's a Havanese. She was also a rescue dog. We were only supposed to be fostering her, but of course when we had her for a day or so we all looked at each other and realized we could not let her go. She is the sweetest dog ever.  We often ask ourselves how her former owners could have let her go. But I'm sure glad they did.

I will look for a good picture of Ruffles (my other Havanese) to post here.

Here is a photo of Ruffles. Like Dede, she's a Havanese.  She's about 8 years old now (this was taken a few years ago). We bought her from a breeder. She's very intelligent, and totally runs the show around our house. Dede is like her sidekick or something.  As you can see from this photo, Ruffles is kind of imperious, but she has a heart of gold.

Best regards,

TinRoof

They look like their such good friends. I love the way dogs can bond. It took a little time after I got Ruger to warm up to my dad's pups when I made it home, but now they are best of friends when they see each other. Too funny how stand-offish dogs can be though when they first meet, even when both dogs are timid as can be.

I just don't think that cats ever get that level of bond with other cats. I hope that I don't rile up any cat lovers with that statement BTW.  ;) I mean it in the most respectful of ways, I'm just a dog lover at heart.

Hey Ev, when I come back as a goofy puppy, would it be OK if I adopt you as my human?

Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
