OK, that is one of the greatest dog/pizza pictures ever taken. You can definitely see he has something in mind there. As ThatsAmore correctly observed, with pizza that good looking at eye level, it's tough to say no, whether you are man or beast. Your dog is a well behaved fellow obviously, but there are limits to the veil of social grace that we all all put on over our more animal selves. Stevie Ray is saying "I'm a good boy, but I'm also hungry for some of that great pizza my master has whipped up. I know I might get in trouble for stealing this entire pizza, but boy would it taste great. Should I, or shouldn't I? That is the question..."

Kind of reminds me of when I was house sitting a long time ago, taking care of a big, kind of ornery pooch (husky/wolf mix). I took some food out of the refrigerator and put it on the table. Laddie gave me the "put that plate on the floor, put your hands over your head, and back away really slowly" look and a low growl. So... I put the plate on the floor, put my hands over my head, and backed away really slowly, all the way out the door and to the local pizza shop (I didn't bring any leftovers back).

Sitting in the local library, waiting for our power to come back on. Saw this poster.

Which dog is better, the word origin names.......Stevie Ray was way better!! Not taking away from Jimi but........

Read a story about Stevie Ray that he would practice so long and hard he would blow his finger tips off, he would then super glue them back on so he could keep practicing!!!!

These two girls are Little Bit (Schnauzer) and Marie (English Shepherd). I got Bit from a breeder friend. Marie is a shelter rescue and my constant companion. She looks a little different in the pic since she'd been groomed for summer and had a major haircut.

Thanks, Bob. They're both great girls. I grew up with English Shepherds as our cattle dogs, and one saved my life when one of our other dogs attacked me at age 3. I've got a soft spot for them and she is so much like the one that saved me, it's actually spooky. If I'm at home, the only time she's out of my sight is when she goes out to keep an eye on the kids. If they're outside, she won't give you a minute's peace unless she's out so she can watch over them.

That's an English Shepherd trait - a friend of mine has one and he keeps a VERY close eye on her son, and on her. Great dog.
