for a brandy drinker like myself a liqour like Drambuie's not a bad sip. I'm a bit leant to the Irish Mist, less scotchy, more whiskey notes. Being a brandy boy, I could meet you'all in the whiskey blends, maybe some ryes or bourbons but not many scotch's fit my tongue quite right.

Me and Glenfiddich 18 year ancient reserve got together one night and ever since I've loved scotch. There isn't too many whiskeys I've found that I dislike, unless it's a REAL cheap one. Even then with a mixer they can be okay, but I prefer a good one neat.
More is better..... and too much is just right.

I'm not really into whisky of any sort.
I am very fond of Southern Comfort. A couple of fingers of Comfort on ice is bliss.
Right now I'm sipping some fine Wolf Blass cab sav.

Someone brought a 1.75 of Southern Comfort out to our deer camp and it just sat there for a year and a half, so one night my boys and I burned it in the fire. The next time I was there, there was another 1.75 of it sitting at the bar. I ask one of the guys if he brought is, and his response was "Yes, somebody drank the other one."  :-D

I drink Southern Comfort as well.  Not often and not much, but for cold nights a sip is good.

Cleaning out the garage. Though I'd stop and have a home-brewed pale ale.

I finally made a trip to my favorite local Microbrewery. I know the owner/brewmaster. He is the one that got me started with home brewing many years ago. You'll never meet anybody more passionate about beer than he is.

This one is Old 21 Double IPA. Very crisp and citrusy because of the healthy dose of Simcoe hops. Me likey.

A bit before my time, but years ago a local TV station used to show reruns. The only episode that I remember is one with Lon Cheney and Boris Karloff.

The roster of guest stars on Route 66 includes several actors who later went on to fame, as well as major stars on the downward side of their careers. One of the most historically significant episodes of the series in this respect was "Lizard's Leg and Owlet's Wing." It featured Lon Chaney, Jr., Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff as themselves, with Karloff donning his famous Frankenstein monster make-up for the first time in 25 years and Chaney reprising his role as the Wolfman. The show was filmed at the O'Hare Inn, near O'Hare Airport, Chicago, Illinois. Dutch singer Ronnie Tober had a small guest role with Sharon Russo, Junior Miss America.

Heck - for most of those you're paying for the gold and diamonds in the bottle not the juice. $44mm for a bottle of limoncello - I know what business I'm going into next...
