While visiting my dad we opened a Pape Clement 1977 that he had traded for some of his art when I was born.
As we were checking the seller we noticed that the bottles had started losing some of its content so we thought it was time to try it.
Despite what we expected since some air had made its way in the bottle, the wine was absolutely amazing.
In the glass the nose was grate and the color a delicate brick color.
In the mouth, it had kept most of its alcohol content, the tannins were perfectly round with a delicate smoky aroma.
Probably the best wine I ever drank
