Coffee, black. Mix of Mystic Mudslide and Earnhardt's Edelweiss (which is 80% French Roast Colombian, 10% Light Roast House Blend, and 10% Espresso Roast beans...or so the beanery claims) :P

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Black Rye IPA

Despite being bottled 6/14, it's kept plenty of fresh hop aromas and flavors: pine, pineapple with mango and peach coming through as it warms up. Hop bitterness marries perfectly with the dark malts and the spiciness from the rye. Easily the best Black IPA I've had.
I need to find that.

Had planned a Champagne celebration (in the hot tub) of the improved view (removed two trees), but discovered that the tub electronics were fried - maintenance mode only until the technicians come to replace the defective unit.

However, the view improvement inspired gin and tonic while enjoying the view from our recliners.  Oh well, gin and tonic is pretty good as well  ;)

I'm finishing up the second pint glass of a bottle of wine I found under the kitchen sink.  I can't even remember where it came from.  I figured it would taste like vinegar considering it's almost 30 years old, but it isn't half bad.  Every bit as good as the Yellowtail shiraz I usually drink.

Beautiful, with or without the gin and tonic!  Enjoy, Peter.

triple dose French Roast with a bit of milk and a spot of E&J XO whilst I bone out a couple pork butts to go into the vacuum tumbler for some cured butt/shoulder bacon, unsmoked, too lazy to get the pit going.

Dude what you are doing is a crime  :'(

I would say a proper Bordeaux wine glass would be in order for a $350 bottle of wine.

The bottle under your sink is a Chateaux Margaux, Premier Grand Cru Classé. There are only 5 winery that are that good.

Next time you find something like that under you sink, call me first  ;)

I was just messing with you.  I drank it out of a proper Bordeaux glass (with a hamburger; seriously).  It was pretty damn good.  Certainly in my top 50.

What breed?  I'm partial to Jerseys.  Especially in late May/early June with all the lush spring grass they're eating.

Honestly, I don't know. I was talking to a couple farmers I know at a bar in town and mentioned how hard it was to get raw milk nowadays and 30 minutes later he came back with a gallon jug of it!! Didn't even know he left :-D

I usually just buy 1% produced by a local creamery from farms in the area.  My neighbor's farm supplies milk to them.  I get my eggs ($2/doz.) from him and he also sells raw milk - just drop off a jar and a note with date you want it and it's in the fridge in the barn when you go to pick it up ($3/gal).  I use that for cheese as well as another local farm that has a herd of Jerseys and Jersey/Holsteins.  It's pastuerized, but you can get it unhomogenized.

So two farmers and a pizza maker walk into a bar....

You need to get another gallon and make some cheese. I too cannot find raw milk in my area, what a shame.

Brought some flavor memories from back on my uncles dairy farm. They had a pitcher of raw milk in the fridge all the time. I could empty that sucker in a day!!!
