Oskar Blues - Deviant Dale's IPA.

Definitely loaded up with Summit hops, almost too much. Not bad though.

@ widespreadpizza: Just drank some more and I'm definitely not having another until my sinuses fully clear up. I can't appreciate the dry hop at all. It's definitely bittered with Summit though. I've never been a big fan of Summit. I like Deviant a lot better than Gubna though, which is Summit overload for sure. What say you?

CK, cleared my inbox... thanks. Gubna was designed to be very offensive. Not something I turn to very often. I can overlook the summit thing. I do get some onion from it but i do love onions. When deviant is super fresh i would put it in my top 10 easily obtainable ipas.

Don, you know, sometimes people just have similar palates. The first time I tasted Narwhal was about 2 months ago on a friday at 11:30am a tasting with my sales rep. 2 sips, and me and one of my employees decided that we ought to buy 50 cases for the shop with the backup plan for not selling them all being what are they going to do get worse?

not likely! haha. they are going to be a super chocolate bomb once those hops wear off..... No matter what sierra does over the years, I will always be a fan, as long as they stay independent! I write this while sipping a 10fidy. Cheers buddy! -Marc

Yeah Marc , I think that our tastes are very similar.

I think that the Narwhal is going to age very well. There will be enough bitter from the coffee to offset the sweet that will come from the chocolate and the alcohol heat will subside.

I've always liked most of SN's beers. As big as they are, it seems that they would look pretty good to InBev. Let's hope not! Look what just happened to Goose Island...such a shame!

My cousins wine is good, at least for me and my mom. It isn't something fancy, but my cousin and his late mother have been making wines for a lot of years. At least I get to try different ones for free.

I hope I sample some of your cousins wine with you one day soon.Maybe next year's motorcycle bash, like we've talked about.

Boones's Farm Strawberry Hill wine was our "high class" juice back in the day so I'm sure you'll be able to kick it up a notch for me on my never ending search for a mellow buzzzzzzz......

Tor Del Colle, Riserva, Montepulciano d' Abruzzo, 2007. Had this wine with De Cecco 100% organic penne rigate kamut pasta with vodka pasta sauce with freshly grated Reggiano-Parmigiano and Locatelli Romano cheeses. Very nice.
