I goggled that Don...never knew that folks were doing this, sounds incredible. Going to try a vanilla ice cream Guinness only shake tonight. Thanks!

Tomorrow, I'm going to Red Robin to try the Guinness Milkshake, but for today it's a six-pack of Natural Light and some Tribuno sweet vermouth.

Broke open another bottle of the latest pale ale. Finally getting the carbonation I was looking for (I'm bottle conditioning), and the flavors are starting to marry nicely.

I know the Irish take their Guinness very seriously......good thing I'm not Irish!

I make a very tasty pancake syrup with Guinness too...yep, I am a sinner!

Really I think the Jameson whiskey is what pushed the Guinness shake over the top for me. Just enough of each. The combination was perfect.

Bob got class! Actually, we're ice stormed in here tonight in NC and I had to raid my German girlfriends stash from the garage frig. Thank the Lord it at least has same alky content as my beloved Icehouse.

Tastes pretty good though...
