Ahhhhh, nice to see someone that knows what a "beer clean" glass is defined by! Can tell a dirty bar/glass a mile away just by the foam sheet on the glass....or lack of

Yeah well, I used to hand wash all my beer glasses without soap, but now I'm lazy and just put them in the dishwasher with everything else. The beer doesn't really seem to mind.

Was very excited to see that Maine Beer Company is now available in limited quantities in Maryland. Their MO Pale Ale (Madeline & Oliver) is something I have been anticipating for some time now.

Bought a single Pint bottle last night....not cheap at $7.99 per bottle.

American Pale Ale, 6.00% Alcohol by Volume, Bottle Conditioned, January 10, 2013 brewed on date on the label. Warrior, Falconer's Flight and Simcoe hops.

"Drink within 90 days from the date on this label. Hoppy beer does not age well". That's GD right.

Lived up to the hype....in short, an American classic. One of the best APA's I have ever had....right up there with Hill Farmstead's Edward in my opinion.

Buying another bottle today to confirm what I had last night. Extremely high quality stuff. --K

Quad espresso with a wee nip o Railen XO rum - distilled right down the road from my house. It makes for a surprisingly tropical drink.

Craig if you've never tried Black Cat from Intelligentsia Coffee you should! Doesn't mix too well with milk but with Rum, now that's a different story..... How is that Railen, sweet at all?

Again, what a classy brawd.

This bottle of Breckenridge Lucky IPA tastes like dishwater after drinking the MO. Different styles, but a whole nother step up the ladder.

Must buy stuff for a beer enthusiast. -k

Yeah, I can't buy any Maine beer in my area. I have had Lunch a few times from my cousin that used to live in Boston, and also from trades. IMO it is a near perfect example of a west coast style IPA (from about as far east as you can get). I haven't had a chance to try MO yet, but from what I've heard it sounds great.

CK, mo is outstanding as well, an IPA in reality IMO, but called a pale. Super grapefruity and amazingly good when super fresh. Not the best value out there, but that's ok. Maybe when the weather breaks you can try one. Also waiting on thier new one called little one from MBC. A DIPA or real hoppy barley wine. Have not had it yet, but am looking forward to it. -Marc
