It can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. ;D

I'm on a diet, so it pretty much has to be a meal replacement for me, since it has 30g of carbs and 29g of alcohol (10.5% ABV), that puts it over 300 calories for a 12oz. bottle! :o

Since I don't restrict my stout intake to Winter, and they're hard to come by other times, I have been stocking my cellar full of them lately. Most of them (definitely Founders Imperial) are better with some time on them anyway.

Do you also drink them at cellar temp? I have found, many years ago in Germany (73-76), they are much better cool, not cold. Contrary to the popular myth of 'warm' beer served in Germany it is actually between room temp and refrigerated temp (45-55). I'll start with mine cold sometimes and drink them slow as it warms while enjoying a good cigar and a brandy on the side

I drink almost all my beer at cellar temp. (55-60 deg. F) or warmer, especially porters and stouts. If I drink anything from the fridge, I usually set it out for at least a half hour. I have no problem with RT beer. IPA's need to be stored refrigerated but I would never drink them refrigerator-cold.

Drink beer cold only if you prefer not to taste (or smell) it!

I'll be checking with Coborn's tomorrow to see if the have, or can get this stuff. Even though it's a grocery store, it has an attached liquor store that has the best prices and the best beer selection in town!!

Label says it all.

Poured 10 too cold unfortunately. Should be at about 50-54 when served.

Brewed not far from my home town, I like the Organic Large Beer.

LOL - not too bad. Ms. Slybarman made the caprese salad and I pulled out the Brunello to go with it. Now if only the kids would put themselves to bed. >:D
