Does it have the same after effects that the Cream Ale has?

Ha ha,... my parents keep Cream ale stocked, the brewery is 20 mins away from me. I just had a Creamer on Christmas eve

Rodenbach Vintage 2010

You guys are lucky to have access to these different Oak aged beers. I have a liquor store here that carries 20,000 wines - not 20,000 bottles, rather 20,000 different labels, and yet they have only 2 or 3 (depending on the day you go) different oak aged beers of any type.

More beer aged in bourbon barrells. Lighter than I expected-pretty good.

Behold gentlemen, my collection of Hudson Whiskey. Finally tracked down some of the maple cask rye and had to pick up two bottles, who knows when the stuff will see the light of day again?

Damn.

It's all I can say.

Caipivodka. Essentually a caipirinha but with vodka instead of cachaça. I like mine stiff, and with a lot less sugar than the local preference.

Thanks for the recommendations, John - I didn't know of those - I'll keep them on my list of spirits to find

Now sipping a smooth Johnny

I won a bottle of Blue Label a couple years ago for hitting a hole-in-one. I didn't like it at all. I gave the bottle to my pastor who loved it.

Tomorrow's drink!

They are darker than in the photo. (Iphone and overhead lighting).  I like to road just about 10 seconds into second crack!

It smells divine.

I've noticed a lot of the beans I buy from my local snooty super market are really oily, I can see and feel the sheen from it. Would you say home roasting reduces the oiliness or does it depend on the bean/roasting method?

The darker roasts will have more oil on the surface.  Also, the oil will come out over time.   These beans are medium+ roasted.  After a week there may be some tiny spots of oil on them

Just curious, has anyone tried/heard of Angel's Envy bourbon?
