At night you can hear noises   good story for the kids.

It "drops" to the mid lower 80's and not too much rain. Let me know if you're looking for something in particular. My recommendation are the "paradores" (Hotels owned and operated by family) away from the city.

Not Edgar but we spent 10 days in Rincon over Christmas a few years ago.  The weather was perfect!!  Absolutely gorgeous.  That side is less windy than in San Juan and less developed too.

Thanks Robyn, I knew you had mentioned it being truly beautiful down there and it's good to know how the weather is during the winter. I understand that things are about half as expensive too.

What was your weather experience when you came? Things in the Tropics tend to change from one day to the other so you can imagine from one year to the next. Last year we have an all time record annual rain fall and a few months too and this year we are having record high temperatures.

Bob:

There are some things cheaper than in the States but some are a lot more expensive (milk) and energy is very expensive here so you can imagine everything that need refrigeration kind of go up in price.

When we were there, it was usually 80's during the day and cooling nicely to low 60's at night, it rained occasionally but lovely tropical rain.  The clouds made for spectacular sunsets!  The little time we spent in San Juan, the wind really bothered me, but Rincon was very pleasant.
