No fear of that, Robyn!  I'm married to one, and unless you have more cats than we do, you don't qualify!  Just enjoy cats in moderation and all will be well.

And no, Pete, not vegetarian.  Spoiled rotten, my two indoor cats frequently get bits of prime rib, rib-eye, pork shoulder, wild salmon, whatever my husband is having for dinner.

Isn't that the craziest thing...I have one cat that will eat all those things too Robyn, loves steak. 
The 'lil one won't have no part of it, well, a bit of Sam's club rotisserie chicken once in awhile maybe.

Unfortunately, we lost this guy last week, at 12 years.
Under  the fur, he was 18 lbs of muscle, and despite the fur, he was non allergenic.
Siberian Forest cats lack the protein in their saliva that causes allergic reactions.

The black and white one loves boxes.  We had a package arrive several weeks ago that was *just barely* too small for her to fit, but she tried all the same - for hours!  We had a good laugh out of it before we took pity and replaced it with a larger box   

Our one cat loves boxes too, or any container she can get into...

I don’t think you have to worry about being the cat lady of PM.  We have two stray kittens inside now and one we are watching for someone else.  There are 10 cats and kittens we feed outside.  We also have raised some litters that their mom’s have left them.  I don’t want any cats, but my daughter loves them.  I can’t begin to tell you how many bad things the kitten have done.  They are now neutered and declawed. 

Life is interesting with the kittens and dogs.

She'd find her way out somehow. It would never happen anyway because she is afraid of my cordless drill. She hates it. Whenever I use it, she hides.

I removed an old potbelly stove from our living room. Before I fixed the hole in the ceiling where the stovepipe went through, Vannah climbed on top of a china hutch and then through the hole and into the attic. We didn't see her do it and were looking everywhere for her for quite some time. We kept calling her name and she would meow back but we couldn't figure out where she was. Then I looked up and there she was, with her head poking out of the hole. Give her time and she would have eventually found her way to the roof. She never seems satisfied with her altitude.

Mitten is the wall inspector/box occupier in our house, as you might have gathered by my avatar.  She can even put herself into a tiny space WITHOUT a box!
