Salsiccia e friarielli
« on: November 16, 2005, 07:43:52 PM »
I am thinking of using sausauge and rabe pizza as one of the pizzas on my menu.  To be honest I am not a huge fan, but I know Italians, those from Napoli especially, love it.  Any Americans here who have tried it? Any opinions would be great.

I'd say it's an excellent combination. I'm assuming this is a non tomato, white pizza. There is a local restaurant here that serves sausage and rabe on pasta and it's surprising how it sells. I think it would be great on a pizza. Won't hurt to give it a try.

Yeah, it is a white pizza.  Both my wife and I tried in Napoli and were not big fans, but a lot of Italians from the Napoli are have already asked about it.  I think I'll give it a try.
