Japanese pizzas

Hi has anyone have had opportunity to taste Japanese pizzas
apparently they are quite a eparture from normal western pizzas as far as the toppings are concerned some have jap curries other black troufles but I have not had opportunity to try their dough if anything and going by their traditional methods Japanese have a sweet tooth and like doughy soft bread check out this site for some previews

you can get decent pizza.  Salvatore is a mini chain that sprung up which does a DOC pizza that I quite like.  The dough is very chewy and nice. SAVATORE CUOMO is the exact name.. not bad. 

as for toppings.. it's basically anything goes.. hard to get a good pepperoni pizza.. better chance getting a potato/corn/cheese pizza..   check out Pizza-La for a good overview of the different toppings..

Anyone have any recipes for any of these?  Mayo Jaga sounds interesting...

mayonaise - potato , nope.. don't have any recipe.  This recipe can come with a number of ingrediants including the mayo, potato, corn, ham in a white sauce base.. it's not bad and my wife likes it.  sometimes there is boiled egg on it too that is sliced.  it's a really interesting taste as is tuna and corn pizza.  http://www.pizza-la.co.jp/menu_e/menu110_pub.html this is the english menu.  a wide variety of wild pizza types.  might be fun to try and reverse engineer their pizza.
