Must have been one heck of a pizza
« on: October 17, 2012, 01:25:11 PM »
Has anyone noticed the pizza in the pictures on the home pages of Keste, Don Antonio, and Amano? It is the exact same pie in all three. I understand the relationships, but still, it seems a bit odd you wouldn't take some new shots from the actual restaurant? The Keste logo must be Photoshopped on the shirt.

Apparently a good photographer is expensive.  Maybe they had to setup the shoot on site to get the pizza while it looked its best.

Looks to me like they used PS to remove the embroidery from the shirt in the second pic, then to remove everything but the pizza in the third.  Trust me, it's really hard to put an embroidered logo in, much easier to take it out.
I'd rather eat one good meal a day than 3 squares of garbage.

I doubt it. It seems likely that the original would be the Amano pic and would predate Keste.

The logo is definitely Photoshopped. If you blow it up, you can see the straight crop lines around it.

Looks like they did a bit of transparency fade on the edges and that's about it.

Yup. Changing my vote.  Pic of pizza dropped in on top of the other pic (2), saved as color version (3), 2 decolored, shirt logo pasted in from some other pic and dropped on top of NY scenery, 3 gets... what? Any changes other than the fuzzy background?

All that computer fudging...  like you said, it would seem to make more sense to get an unique pic from each place, unless they were purposely trying to create an unifying theme.

Or maybe they just don't get that many great looking pizzas.  :-D

They also lopped off Roberto's left thumb in the Keste picture.  :o
