My first cracker style, using DKM's recipe

I was surprised to find how the edges of the pizza curled up, but I was really happy with the way this crust came out.  I guess I don't really like Italian sausage as a topping, though, so I'll have to try some of my favorite toppings next time.  I'm also wanting to try a shrimp pizza on this crust with a garlic-butter sauce instead of a tomato sauce, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Here's a recent try of a thin crust. Crust was great IMHO.

 Hi Basetwo,
A nice job anyway with or without sausage. I have not made a pizza with shrimp but i have made a white pizza with clams. I drained a can of chopped baby clams and marinated them overnight in EV olive oil with a few cloves of minced garlic. The clams came out great. I used part-skim mozzarella which made the pizza a little dry. I should have used whole milk mozzarella. I drained the excess oil off the clams and tossed them right over the mozzarella, some of the garlic sticks too the clams which was fine by me. A dash of crushed black pepper and a sprinkle of parsley if you got it for color. Not that bad at all for my first attempt.        Thanks, Chiguy

I miss the site itself. haven't been here in forever. Hardly recognize a single name. but of course Petezza is everywhere still, lol. blessing all with the knowledge gained from endless hours of pizza research. and saving all of us many hours in return. and then I see that you still are around, itsinthesauce.  :)
glad to see friendly old names.

the whole site seems so massive from when there were very few of us. but alas we must share with the world. I think i will have over 2 weeks of constant reading to catch up on all the posts but I have time.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot.
The site is EXCELLENT Steve. you have done an incredible job. so a many thanks to you and all that have helped you maintain and make this Pizza Place so much fun and enjoyable to visit.

Hello to all old and new.

Hey, Foc, where in the world have you been? Yea, a lot has gone on...all good...still the best site going, as Steve has kept a decorum that is unheard of.

It's all about time.  I've spent over a year getting ready for a software conversion, we went live with half of it January 1 and Go live with the second half March 1.  I'm hoping by April to find the new version of "normal".

And of course I help out on some other boards as well.
