Chicagoan in St. Louis

I'm 32yrs old and love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen in hopes at one day I can easily make great tasting food, from fresh ingredients, done at a very low cost, and easily while being able to talk or entertain guest.  I've made pizza from random recipes in the past 10 years, but just recently I've really gotten into it.  It's partly because I started making my own bread in the past year, and partly because I randomly saw a recipe for a cast iron skillet deep dish pizza recipe last month.  Even though many of my pizzas have been very very good, I'm always trying to try something else.  I know a lot of people say why try to change a good thing, but I'm a believer that you never know if something is better unless you try.
