In the approximately eight years that I have been a Moderator, I can recall only one other ban (other than bans of spammers and the like). Most accounts are closed at the request of members. They usually close their accounts because they felt that they were unfairly treated by other members or something got stuck in their craw.

I agree, he certainly is dedicated.  But he also put a huge amount of effort into being abrasive and hard to communicate with.  Entertaining?  Yes, as a popcorn-munching spectator sport, but not so much for anyone interested or involved in any topic he jumped into.  It tended to shrivel up discussion instantly.

Yea I really felt he hated the world or something.
