Got to work this morning, popped in my earbuds, and played all of Pink Floyd The Wall.
I know Dark Side usually gets the limelight as their best, but The Wall is pretty spectacular.

This month's "Live from Daryl's House" has Amos Lee as the guest. So very, very good. Again, put your headphones on...the sound is fantastic....

Love both albums, for different reasons.

And, now, Les Paul "Bad Case of Lovin' You" (featuring Billy Gibbons), from the album "Les Paul & Friends". A nice nugget from the Johnny Winter channel on Pandora.

Still on the Pink Floyd kick...

"Animals" has to be one of my favorites...

I wasn't sure if it was commercially successful, but I see on Wikipedia "The album was released to generally positive reviews in the United Kingdom, where it reached number 2. It was also a success in the United States, reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200, and although it scored on the American charts for only six months, steady sales have resulted in its certification by the RIAA at four times platinum."

I just can't believe what's happened to music these days...Justin Beiber, really?   :-\

Don't fret my friend. Beiber is not music(he is sorta like the Tiny Tim of yesteryears, each generation needs it's oddities/fools)....the good stuff will live on and on.  ;)

CB

p.s.  except he can't even play an ef'in ukelele.   ;D

Dazed and Confused covered by Caleb Johnson

For those who don't know who he is, he is a finalist on American Idol - a real rocker with a really great voice and has great stage presence.  I hope he wins!
