I'm listening to ME!
I haven't mentioned it until now, but I am a proficient jazz keyboard player (and accordionist) and composer. Last year I released a CD with my bass player friend, Jim Lownes, entitled "Late Bloomers". The project was the culmination of my four-year private study of Lyle "Spud" Murphy's "System of Horizontal Composition based on Equal Intervals" , aka "The Equal Interval System" (EIS).
The title track features David "Fingers" Haynes - finger drumming, Jim Lownes - bass, Mike Bagasao - tenor saxophone, Ray Ferretti - guitar and yours truly.
Here's a teaser of the title track: http://www.audiorecordingandservices.com/LateBloomers.mp3
The CD is available on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby.
So now, what's the the difference between a jazz musician and a large pizza?
