He wasn`t too underrated, he was a Willbury......what a lineup that was, wow!  :chef:

Good point, he told a cool story about how that band happened on sirius yesterday.
Dylan, Harrison and Orbison of all people!

Yep, Tom is awesome...no doubt.  8)

Highway Companion is one of my go to CD`s.......I never get tired of it and it is one of those rare ones that you can put it on and just let it play all the way through.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_Companion

Grew up 20miles away from these guys and thought nothing of seeing them play in my local bar with maybe 150 of us there watching the show.

This NY date starts right off with 2 great tunes.                `You`re on top of the world and you can`t get any higher`

I love the screech of a hawk.  It's so eery and primordial.

Me too, Scott.  They are so majestic looking as well.  This has been going on for at least a month.  I've been trying to get a clear shot of one but the trees are too tall in my backyard.

I'm listening to ME!

I haven't mentioned it until now, but I am a proficient jazz keyboard player (and accordionist) and composer.  Last year I released a CD with my bass player friend, Jim Lownes, entitled "Late Bloomers".  The project was the culmination of my four-year private study of Lyle "Spud" Murphy's "System of Horizontal Composition based on Equal Intervals" , aka "The Equal Interval System" (EIS).

The title track features David "Fingers" Haynes - finger drumming, Jim Lownes - bass, Mike Bagasao - tenor saxophone, Ray Ferretti - guitar and yours truly.

Here's a teaser of the title track: http://www.audiorecordingandservices.com/LateBloomers.mp3  The CD is available on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby.

So now, what's the the difference between a jazz musician and a large pizza?  :-D

Good one, and quite probably true this day and age!  Oldest of 10 kids here, now that was a trick for a mechanic dad.  Different time and era.  No Joneses next door to keep up with, if there were they would have moved away from that family of hooligan kids, stat. :D

Seriously, I really liked the music.
