Yep, California.  Hug a tree, hug a fish, hug your medical jane prescription.

I thought for sure that had to be fake. It sounded like something you would see on The Onion News Network. Nope, it's real.

The PETA I belong to, People for Eating Tasty Animals, could have given the fish a much more meaningful memorial - a mega fish fry nobody would ever forget.     ;D

Most of what PETA puts out sounds like it belongs on the Onion. Their motive is to be so outrageous that people pay attention, but I think it backfires on them because they do it so much that almost nobody takes them seriously.

My sister had a couple of PITA "friends" that were big into the PETA thing until they stopped speaking to her because she insists on keeping her aquarium and thereby exploiting fish. ::)

No they were live fish. The big oxygen tank was to oxygenate the water in the truck.

Yeah, Onion Worthy for sure. Even though it's true, it's still goofy enough to meet their muster for stupid news. I LOVE The Onion, great stuff!!!! :-D

Dude, if it weren't for pot smokers, 1/2 of Cali customers would only order 1med. Pie, and not two larges!

It's an economic reality not to be scoffed at!

...which is the same link that I posted in Reply #4. I hesitated to post a link to PETA's site because I didn't want to increase their link popularity which improves their search engine position...especially from a popular site like this one that is search engine optimized.

Wow.  I've been a vegetarian for 34 years, and I'm horrified by that.
