Nice! I've tried that method. When I breached the flour wall the first time, that's when I decided to buy my dough bowl.

Thank god my wife wasn't home to see the mess, cause she'd have flipped out! Flour/water running down between the stove and counter.
What's also interesting is that majority opinion is to add dry to the wet for hydration purposes, and this method doesn't allow that.
