Now that I know where Goa is I would like to know what's in that pot!
Thanks! It is a little payback for what will be almost a full week of pizza. My wife prefers vegetarian food. So, the curry is: Red, Green, & Orange bell peppers, Carrots, Onions, Shallots, Crimini mushrooms, Thai Basil, a very large baking potato (I have the rule of +1 - as I occasionally get a potato that has internally 'developed') leftover. The fun part:
Cumin powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Fenugreek powder, Ginger powder, Cinnamon stick - grated, Smoked Paprika, Ground Cloves, Coarse Ground Black pepper, White Pepper, Ground Cardamom, Hot Cayenne Pepper powder, Coleman's Mustard powder, Hot mustard powder, Sumac, & I'm not totally sure why but I also put prepared Garam Masala in it - because I always do (it's just a bunch of the same stuff above in a spice jar.) Also, Thai bird peppers as garnish for wife (and appetizer for me.)
over "Lucky Elephant" Jasmine Rice - washed to remove all talc and steamed in a rice cooker.
This is just me riffin' on Curry. It's great - but I made up the recipe.
