Farro salad with grilled vegetables, goat feta and fresh oregano. Room temp and great for summer. Followed by baby back ribs with just a little sauce. Great meal.

My take on the classic caprese with sliced mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, sea salt and pepper, a fresh herb blend comprising purple and green basil, oregano, cilantro, thyme and rosemary, California Olive Ranch Limited Reserve EVOO, and whole wheat French bread to sop up the juices. And a glass of red cabernet and a salted caramel chocolate for dessert. I could live on this.

Stopped by an Amish farm to get some fresh fruits and fresh white sweet corn on the cob.  Tried a new recipe for fresh corn salad.  I really liked the fresh corn salad.  The fresh raspberries freshly picked were also very good, as were the cherries and blueberries.

Back from my morning workout, had to fix up a protein heavy breakfast burger JTG style:

Coarse ground chuck with melted emmental cheese,  farm fresh egg with truffle oil drizzled over, Hellman's mayo mixed with pureed horseradish.

Absolutely sublime...

The trick is to fine unique things to place inside once they are done...

Goat cheese and fig jam?
Nutella and chopped bananas?
Orange-flavored sweetened ricotta
Butter and jam?

Or use them to sop up gravy with a nice pot roast.

Creamy scrambled eggs over some thick slices of homemade bread (grilled with butter). Smoked salt and truffle oil over eggs.
