Hatch chilies showed up today so I made green chile stew. Butterflied porkchops cut into strips, gutted green chilies and onion with some chicken broth, salt, and pepper, and just a taste of comino.
Simmered them down for about 4 hours and it was good. The whole pot was gone in 20 minutes, they had very little heat in the peppers so the family chowed down. I made that for me, figuring it would be hot, dang it!
May do midnight supper: beef stroganoff.
