Yea I got back from a 2.5 hour training session 30 minutes ago and have work at 5 till 11 standing in front of a 750F oven.

You guys are too funny thinking sugar is bad for you... This all fits into my macros which is all that matters.
Who said anything about sugar? Gingers make my heart pound!  :-D

Spiral cut, grilled, hot Italian brats. Mine was topped with a mozz/prov mix, a little Cheez Whiz, onions, jalapenos and a dab of dijon and catsup. Yes, the brats were still zesty enough to shine thru the toppings. One of the best brat combos I've had in a long time

My take on the ubiquitous watermelon feta salad. Super cold compressed melon tossed w  feta, mint and arugula then finished w EVO, hot honey and sea salt. Mmm summer.

Jeff,

That looks and sounds delicious!  ;D  I bet the hot honey really adds a nice touch.

Dinner tonight was barbecued chicken breast (marinated in original State Fair Spiedle sauce), sweet potato, fresh sweet corn, sweet and sour cucumbers with fresh spring onions and blueberries.

First time making sheppard's pie.  Made it with organic ground beef.  Had 3 servings.  Good stuff!

Jeff, your watermelon salad looks great!  How do you compress the melon?

Thanks guys it was very good.

Norma-the hot honey was a nice touch, but the idea wasn't all mine. Last year at a restaurant I had a watermelon salad with goat cheese and a honey chili vinaigrette. That gave e the idea to top w hot honey and good olive oil.

Chau-I just put the watermelon pieces in a commercial vacuum sealer and suck the air out. It gives watermelon cantaloupe and  the like a denser texture that is very interesting. I've heard of people using FoodSaver home vacuum sealers for the same thing. You can also add a little bit of limoncello or other liqueurs to infuse flavor too. Fun stuff.

This is a famous dish from Maggianos Italian restaurant.  Rigatoni "D" otherwise known as rigatoni di Gregorio.  I cloned it and you can find the recipe in the other foods section.

Are those meatballs in the back there?

I just very lightly dusted 12 wings that I'm going to deep fry for some Buffalo style wings.

Bob,

These are spicy garlic wings that taste just like the ones at Buffalo Wild Wings.
