Small 3 pound pork shoulder roast done oner lump charcoal an lilac chunks and a couple fresh dug ginormous potatoes that were rubbed with olive oil and seasoned salt and wrapped in foil. A reduced au jus made from the drippings and porcini mushrooms, brandy, and stout. Pork rubbed with Montreal steak seasoning and mushroom dust and pizza seasoning. 3 hours later HUGE gut cramp from stuffing my face with WAYYYY more than it needed :-D :drool: :-X

Waaay better than the one's I had at "Wild Wings"....my face and hands were covered with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing once I finally came up for air.  :drool:

Oh yes, I have about 5 variations/brands on hand of that type of hot sauce. I love it and can taste a difference between say Crystal; Texas Pete, Louisiana, Franks, etc.  Love 'em all, just use them for different things.
btw, I did use unsalted butter instead of oil in your recipe.  :drool:

It was wonderful and of course there was Aleppo involved in the marinade, corn and my potatoes.  Tomorrow may involve fresh pasta.  I do think there's going to be some bread dough making on hand--I'm going through withdrawal.  90+ temps be damned!

After changing my mind 17 times I made pasta w sausage and broccolini finished w lemon zest. It was tasty.

Just finished barbecuing some half chickens, will be served with garlic and romano cheese dressed roasted red potatoes. It's my daughter in laws birthday, her and my son are kayaking and will be home shortly. Brownies in placeof birthday cake, no one seems to be into cakes these days.

Haha.  Wife's recipe, this was all her.  Awesome dish though and very easy peazzy.

The smell of frying bacon, the tick tock of the toaster and fresh fruit made my lunch good today.  I love BLT's with fresh Washington Boro tomatoes, Boston lettuce and lots of bacon.

Looks beautiful, Norma!  My cherry tomatoes are beginning to ripen.  I can't wait for my other tomatoes to ripen.  There's nothing like a blt with tomato still warm from the sun.  Your fruit salad looks wonderful as well!  I  love cherries and blueberries.
