I just tried drizzling some balsamic on the Caprese bagel. Oh yeah,  kicked the flavor up to the next level.  Should have done it a long time ago.

Radish, homemade butter, sea salt.
Back to being a civilian pizza maker only.

Tostitos Artisan Grilled Red Pepper & Tomato Salsa Flavored Tortilla Chips, layered with refried beans, fajita seasoned leftover rotisserie chicken, Mexican blend shredded cheese, and guacamole, salsa, sour cream. Washed down with a rare, frosty margarita.
Now if the rain would just stop so the stupid dog would do her business, I'd be a happy camper. One more margarita and I'll be a happy camper, regardless.  :-D

I'm munching on tomato pie and washing it down with Rolling Rocks, may break into the fresh cheese curds I brought home today, at any moment.

I wish I had some RR, right now. I love regular Guinness beer but I just spit out a mouthful of Guinness Special Extra or somesuch. It tasted horrible to my palate. It tasted like teenage angst blended with 200 years of bitter regret. It really harshed my 2 margarita mellow.

I seriously love roast chicken. That looks delicious. Nice presentation, I've already eaten it with my eyes.

That does sound awful. Worst of both ends of life. I will avoid that sub-brand.

I'm enjoying a Mirror Pond Pale Ale (Deschutes Brewery,  Bend, OR) and it is delicious.  Just the right amount of bitterness (lets say a Republican after the last presidential election).

I'm chilling a Lasko Club Export for later tonight. I've never had a beer from Slovenia before.

There's a local store that carries a huge selection of domestic & imported beer and they encourage people to grab an empty 6-pack and fill it with different brands to try. My wife shops there often and even though she doesn't drink beer she enjoys looking through the shelves for interesting bottles. So I wind up with 6 new beers to sample. I truly am a lucky man.
However, if all six of the pockets of the six-pack are filled with something like, Arrogant Bastard Ale, then I know I've done something wrong!  :-D

Blackened catfish just out of the cast iron for a sandwich in the boat tomorrow. Heading out about 4am for a nice 12 hours or so on the lower St Croix River. I don't care what I catch, it's supposed to be sunny, mid 70's with 5-10 mph winds and it's the (shame on me) 1st time in the boat this year. My back has finally simmered to the point where I'm saying "eff it" gotta get some time on the water to 'strain the brain clutter'  out of me head and stare at some nice shore line. Catching fish would only be extra, leaches and crawlers are ready to go :P
