Bob,

The batter is a little bit different than pancake.  Search online, there are tons.  Making a true carnie corn dog is next on my list.

Alton Brown has a recipe for funnel cake, I've not made it yet, though.

Corn dog is my all time favorite food!  :)  Making a real deal one is not as easy as it may sound....but I'll bet you can do it Nate. Please let us know.

Steve, our fearless leader, loves corn dogs too...I think he recommends Dipsy Dog mix.  It has a clown on the package(of course!)  :)

Yep.  The mix the vendors use would probably be better than what I can make.

Salad, French bread from a great Italian Deli, and excellent spaghetti & meat sauce. I've been making it for quite awhile and you can have dinner on the table in about 90 minutes from start to finish. It's "Jo Mama's World Famous Spaghetti" at the food.com site. Give it a try, you'll love it.
I'd usually have a hearty red wine but Diet Peach iced tea just sounded better to me tonight.
I just realized that like chili, this should be even better with beans!  :-D

Or reheated the next day.    Have you ever had leftover getty(sauce mixed with the pasta)reheated in a frying pan real hot?  Like candy, man!

I've never heard of it, Bob. It doesn't burn? It gets sweet? Because I do have some extra sauce.

Hey! I couldn't find the "What are you going to be eating in the future" thread, so I'll mention here that Jackitup's posting in the BS thread of Garvey's Pizza Factory clone looked so good I just had to make up some doughballs today. I've not used the BS for thin crust yet so I'm looking forward to that.

Well, maybe not quite "real hot", I mean, you don't want to catch it on fire.  :)
Has to be at least a day old, you know....past and sauce mixed together and put up in the frig. Turns dark red and sweet. A little crunchy fried noodle ends don't hurt.    Try it Mikey!  ;D

You will love it. Try the cracker crust too. I've done many, many cracker crusts but launching the crust for the par bake on that 600-650 degree stone equaled the best one I ever did out of the kitchen oven on the 1st try. You'll like it a lot

Salad, baked potato, and a 28-oz Sirloin steak (enough for us and the dog). It was 68 today and I was just too lazy to roll out the Weber for just one steak. So a 30 second sear on each side in a screaming hot skillet and then into a 500 oven to finish. Priceless!

Nice looking sauce on that perfectly cooked victim.  8)
