A 'lil oil in a cast iron pan(foil cover) turns that DD into a whole nother thing...very good.

But since this was your first DD I just want to let you know this method works especially well on DD, turns it into something really special.

Capicola slices with Pepperjack and Dill Triscuit Crackers and some wonderful Dijon mustard gobbed on for snacks before a supper of leftover DD pizza and some beef flap fried in the 'cast iron pan' with a bit of lard

15 teams competed. Only the top 3 were called to the stage, I wasn't one of the three.

I knew that when people kept coming back to our tent saying that ours was the best, that we wouldn't win. I don't know why, but that is my experience from competeting. We had a great time and will try again next year.
