Frozen orange wedges. Love them that way, peel, separate, freeze and eat. Better than frozen grapes!

Homemade corned beef, vegetable, barley soup with some toasted ciabatta bead. Nurses were jealous til I shared with them. I alway bring extra when I bring soup for my lunch. A few more hours and time for a nitecap and a nap then back for another 12 hours. Christmas Eve and Day too

then off for my 8 days

Actually don't mind working on the holidays sometimes, figure the patients got it way worse than I do!

I'm thinking on a Totino's pepperoni pizza for dinner. Don't know why but I crave them lately. It's too bad the pepperoni is the only one that's good any more. The messed up the sausage around a year ago. (was decent then), But now it's like rabbit pellets...

And even worst yet, they discontinued the Mexican style!!!

Is it just me, Or does it seem to be that allot of frozen and fast foods are being 'dumbed down' and made more cheaply then ever before.

Unfortunatley, this is a problem that goes FAR AND WIDE and way beyond frozen pizzas, that affects our economy on a scale that is hideous to say the least. But that discusion could go on forever, and has, and probably shouldn't be here, even though we would probably ALL agree

Fried Spam Sandwich!!! Coated with LOTS of black pepper, served up with Dijon mustard, a bit of ketchup, pepper-jack cheese and pickled jalapenos. Couldn't think of what to make and too lazy to get anything good going so there was a can of Spam staring right at me.....PERFECT

I don't eat it much either, but once in awhile it's just the thing I wanted. Takes me back a few, 45-50 years worth

We didn't go hungry but dad worked 2 jobs and you ate what was made for you back then in the 50's and 60's. Any whining at the table was quickly shut down, and I was never a whiner....at the table anyway, dad could reach me too easy

Always liked what was served up to me though and still like spam!

Spam takes me back a few years too. I really like spam salad sandwiches. Grind up the spam, add sweet gherkin pickles, hard boiled eggs and mayo in a Universal grinder. Of course I also like fried spam like you made too.

Spam always reminds me of camping when I was a kid. I can just picture (and smell) my mom frying up some Spam on the Coleman stove.
