Nothing fancy for Easter.  Just take whatever food you want and put it on a paper dish.

Just some 'bugs....

That's quite a festive (and delicious looking!) lunch for a Monday afternoon

I must be doing something wrong! I had a pre-made "fruit smoothie" and a few hunks o' cheese from the Food Lion :(

PS My wife used to love crawfish until she heard someone calling them bugs! I still love 'em --- mini lobsters as far as I can tell...

I'll bet you could make a good stock to freeze with all those shells.

Pulled pork sauerkraut hash with onions and oven baked home fried from Cook's Country and some plain old Stove Top Stuffing with corn mixed in out of the nuclear wave.....Just Awesome all mixed up like hash except the stuffing on the side, and might I say, that episode on home fries on Cook's Country/America's Test Kitchen ROCKS!!! Stirred in the potatoes last into the pork/kraut/onion mix....a little horseradish on the side. Will be great for some over easy eggs in the morning!!!!!!

Thanks Norma!

They were.  Gonna brine them for 24 hours next time prior to cooking. The meat has been engineered to be "too white". I gotta go hunt me some boar!  (If I had any knowledge of how to do such a thing!)

John,

I like white pork meat, better than the dark meat.  Lol, about going hunting for a boar.

Bob,

How's about me and you head out to Murphy farm some night this summer with a couple slingshots and a case of Icehouse and see what happens! :-D if we fail there we can hit one of the smaller poultry farms instead and wrangle us a pair of free range hens. Wait, this is NC. They live their lives on conveyor belts! >:( :-D

Head over to Craig's neck of the woods and he'll have some waiting for you. I think they are pretty much shoot on site in TX all year round, just need a hunting license! They are a BIG over population problem.
