Norma,You are right about chilis fajita marinade. Out of this world good. Too bad the copycat recipes online don't come close enough...for their salsa either
Wish I could find those recipes too. Norma
I think Peter aught to brush up on his cloning skills. We all know what happens when Norma puts her mind to something...Dan
Nate,You are very good at coming up with recipes. If you can ever find one that tastes about the same let us all know. I had their salsa before and really liked it. Did you ever try Chili's Tostada Chips w/Salsa? I think they are great. I could eat loads of those Tostada Chips w/Salsa. Wish I could find those recipes too. Norma
Norma, I don't know Chili's recipe, but I still have the salsa recipe I used at "Dos Amigos" in Montana... probably made 20-30 gallons a week. We were going to bottle it, but the hassle with nutritional info was just too much. I can share it if you want, but it does use #10 cans Tom
Yes I love their chips and salsa. I have gotten it to go about 100 times lol. But the price is starting to climb too high. We need to clone it for sure.
Nate,I think if you get a dinner combo at Chili's, two people can get an appetizer of the chips and salsa and also the entree I had for 20.00 for two. Of course, you can get any combo two people might like. I know it would be nice to clone the food though. You sure must like those chips and salsa to have eaten it about 100 times. Norma
Gulf shrimp and andouille etouffee.
I based it on the etouffee recipe from a local restaurant: http://www.hattiesrestaurant.com/chefs_corner.php . I use red pepper, only. I use Dinosaur Cajun Foreplay for seasoning - that $#/&'$ awesome.
Think I recently watched their(Hatties)chef make his famous fried chicken on some food show. I see on your menu link they charge $20 bucks for a fried chicken dinner ouch! Have you ever ordered that jkb?
That darn Elfie got to the cookies my granddaughter and great granddaughter made before I got to them. Norma
