I made one yesterday with ricotta and feda. What's your opinion?

I make a pizza with spinach and feta cheese.  I saute the spinach with some red onions and a little garlic (maybe a squeeze of lemon), cover with the Feta and bake.  Sometimes I'll put a little mozz on just because the feta doesn't melt well.  Delicious pizza.

Do you mean Feta or Feda? Never heard of feda but know and like feta but never made a pizza with it.

I often do pies with feta and mozzerella/provalone on top of that. I like that sharp funkiness of the feta. The rest of my pie eaters are getting used to it and actually ask for it and miss it when I don't use it sometimes :-D

My version of a "greek pizza":  garlic alfredo sauce mixed with ranch, chopped onions, light feta/blue cheese/gorgonzola, deli sliced provolone to cover, then black olives and diced cucumber with sweet red pepper rings.  Top with shredded fresh arugula postbake.  Mediterranean spice mix - not sure what's in it, lemon zest, sea salt, other stuff.

Feta, Blue and Gorgonzola : best used in moderation, otherwise they overpower everything else.

I'd rather eat one good meal a day than 3 squares of garbage.

Oooh, Gorgonzola, apple slices and onions with a little mozzarella and provolone and finish with some good fruity olive oil and serve.....you'll like that one I promise. Or if you don't like the Gorgonzola the feta would be good too!! Great hors d'oeuvres before a dinner like today :chef:

My favorite pizza is pesto for sauce, feta cheese and black or kalamata olives

I love feta cheese on pizza! First I roast some eggplant in the oven and let cool.  Prep dough for pizza peel.  Apply a thin layer of sauce, then add eggplant, kalamata olives, drained marinated artichokes and crumble some feta cheese on top.  Bake your pizza according to your oven and enjoy!

We are fond of this one:
  • sun dried tomatoes, minced
  • pepperoncinis, minced
  • fresh basil from the aerogarden, chopped
  • mushrooms
  • black olives
  • red pepper flakes
  • feta
This produces a savory pizza, slightly sweet from the sun dried tomatoes, a little heat from the red pepper flakes, and perfect saltiness from the feta.  We've tried other cheeses, but always return to feta because of it's salty nature.

From Pizza Luce's menu:

Pizza Athena
You donít need to consult some internet oracle to know this little goddess has fresh spinach, tomato, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, red onions, Greek oregano and toasted garlic with light mozzarella on Bianca sauce.
