Tool Stand

Decided to make a stand for some of the oven tools I have acquired. Tired of leaning tools against every available surface and then chasing them as they start to fall.

Also needed to get rid of a bag of concrete mix. So I cut several 2 ft sections of 1.5 inch pvc, blocked one end, filled an old 5 gallon bucket with half the concrete mix and set the pipe in it.  Weighing in at 40lbs those tools are going anywhere now. Can't wait to get my act together, fire up the oven, and give it a test drive.

I like your ingenuity. It's amazing what you can do with a Homer bucket and some PVC. I made a filtration system for my pond with the same and saved $100's.

We should replace the monthly challenge section with a area to put brilliant DIY ideas like this, FeChef's cold smoker bucket, etc.

Yes, kind of like that, but in a place where each idea has a separate post - not all jammed into one thread where you will never know what all is in it.

I bet just about every member has (or will come up with) a clever mod, a new way to use an existing tool, a DIY solution for something, etc.

Forty pounds of concrete?  Don't kick it accidentally.  I'd make one but my wife would just tie me to it and toss it in the river.
