Viewers should remember that embedded videos will not display at full resolution. If you expand the video to full screen, you should see an option at the bottom of the screen to increase the resolution.

Viewers should remember that embedded videos will not display at full resolution. If you expand the video to full screen, you should see an option at the bottom of the screen to increase the resolution.

While the video is playing, you should be able to change the playback resolution by clicking the little "gear" symbol on the bottom menu. Or, like you said, you can go to full-screen.
