Did you build an oven? What resources do you recommend?

I'm interested in building an oven and would love to hear from those who have done it - what do you wish you knew before you got started? Where would you suggest a novice begin reading/learning? Thanks!

There have been some epic builds here.  Really and truely though, the Forno Bravo forum is more dedicated to strict building than we are here.  That being said, there are a small handful of people that I consider experts in masonry that are members here. Take a look around at both places and see where you feel most comfortable.  Welcome to our little world.

This is pizza making, Forno Bravo is oven making.  I would suggest you spend some hours over there reading, it is a little harder to find here.
