I turned off the outside lights and walked outside. I looked up for about 10 min. and didn't see anything happen.  Come to find out, it is "overcast" here tonight.  Well, maybe tomorrow... >:(

From your link....."Viewers should lie on the ground and look straight up to view as much of the sky as possible. But don't expect to see any meteors until you've allowed between 30 and 40 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the dark, and at a minimum, plan to stay out for at least an hour."

Hope you have clearer skys tomorrow night.  8)

30 to 40 minutes later, is it the hypothermia making me see things, or actual meteors?
I'd rather eat one good meal a day than 3 squares of garbage.

I dunno, it is 79 F here, so I didn't freeze; but I did see things too. :chef:

I was at work this morning, and I thought about what they said on the radio at 1 AM est. So I looked out the door to the west at ~4 AM  and just by chance I saw one of the best shooting stars of my life!!!  8)

Strait down from the sky, brighter and brighter until poof in a brilliant flash!!! :)
It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs! I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never be explained, or which would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth.
