Friday Nite 00 with beer......

Tonites pie using SI 00 flour and beer instead of water. A little yeast and starter together. 24 hours bulked in the fridge and balled 4 hours at room temp. Finished pic and an up-skirt. Onions, green peppers and capicola with some parm on top of the sauce and prov/mozz on top....really good.

PS.....5 minute bake time at 550 'convection bake' setting

Thanks guys, it was a very good pie and I could pick up the beer a bit as it was that Vanilla Porter and it is a very rich tasting beer. Should have used a bit more capicola. Pie was pretty much covered bit as you can see, it shrunk up quite a bit. This has fast become one of my favorite toppings!!

That looks amazing! Suddenly I am wishing that I had a convection oven. Or at least one that got hotter than what mine does now...
