IF it happens, is it at 00:01 orrrr 23:59 orrrr at some time in the middle and in which time zone???

Inquiring minds need to know, did the Mayan's think of that??

It already happened yesterday in New Zealand, and my sources there indicate light rain in the morning, heavy beverage consumption in the evening, but no sign of impending doom. The Mayan cycle begins anew with no more trouble than leap year for us. Carry on.

The sources say 11:11 ust. From my calculations 6:11 am tomorrow est. Only food today: pizza. only beverages today, water, ginger beer, beer. maybe some water before bed. Cheers everybody! -Marc

Funny how the Mayans were able to predict the end of the world, and yet they were unable to predict their own demise which occurred much sooner.

Ahhhh, but did not end the world or spell demise for ALL of them or everybody. Virus killed most of them and pretty much destroyed their civilization as they knew it "literally" in months to a few years. But tit for tat, they as unknowingly as the Spanish with their pox etc, sent back syphilis to Europe!! Early bacterial warfare. Actually goes back to Janibeg in the 1300's when he used his own dead soldiers from Bubonic Plague and used catapults to send bodies over the walls of Kafa and kill off most of the city. And on went the plague....but I digress, interesting stuff though. Janibeg was a psychopathic nut, but like most psychopaths....very smart!!

Facing the inevitable today according to experts on the Mayan Calendar, I've already indulged in 17 burgers, 4 x-large pizzas, 23 orders of fries and 2 entire Black Forest cakes...

It's either the apocalypse or a coronary for me. It was nice meeting all of you.

By coincidence I'm spending the week in the Yucatan, the home of the Myans.
They seem unworried.
However, I'm no fool.
As soon as I found out about the apocalypse , I changed my ticket to one-way.
Why waste good money on a round trip ?
